Metiisto artisan chocolate is a micro chocolate factory situated in the heart of Sweden. We pride ourselves on sourcing the finest ingredients and turning them into fine chocolate.
The whole process is carried out by hand and on a tiny scale. We hand sort the cocoa, roast, winnow, grind, refine, conche, age, temper and then hand wrap every bar.
This means it can take months to go from the bean to the bar.
All of our cocoa comes from fine flavor grade cocoa and we pay around 3 times more for it than the “fair trade minimum”. To this we add sugar, cocoa butter and milk powder (only in the milk chocolate).
No extra ingredients are used. Just the important stuff.
